What’s Coming from LifeWise in 2026

Get your first look at our plans, rates, county footprint, and more.

Our 2026 individual and family plans and rates are now public. To view details for all carriers, visit the OIC announcement. Here’s a preview of what’s coming for LifeWise next year.

Counties

We are expanding Cascade Select into Lewis County, bringing our most affordable plans to customers there.

We are discontinuing our LifeWise Essential plans in 9 counties: Chelan, Clark, Cowlitz, Douglas, Klickitat, Skagit, Skamania, Wahkiakum, and Whatcom. Members on Essential plans in those counties will be mapped to their metallic level Cascade Select counterpart.

LifeWise has made the difficult decision to discontinue plans in Lincoln and San Juan counties starting in 2026. The complexity and associated costs of maintaining our plans in these regions have made it challenging to provide our members with the high-quality experience and competitive pricing they deserve.

“We have been honored to serve the San Juan community over the years, and we understand the disruption that this change may bring,” said Justin Cusber, Individual Markets Business Manager. “Rest assured, we are dedicated to continuing our efforts towards creating sustainable solutions for LifeWise and the members we serve.”

Plans

Next year, all carriers, including LifeWise, will offer two Gold plans in their Cascade and Cascade Select portfolios. The state created this additional plan as part of their market stabilization efforts due to the potential expiration of the Enhanced Premium Tax Credits (EPTCs). The new standard gold plan is the Cascade or Cascade Select Vital Gold, which has higher cost shares and a lower premium than the other Cascade or Cascade Select Complete Gold plan. The Cascade or Cascade Select Complete Gold plan is the new name given to the current Cascade or Cascade Select Gold.

We’re discontinuing 3 LifeWise grandfathered plans and mapping members on those plans to their equivalent.

  • WiseEssentials 25 ($2920) $2500 map to WiseEssentials 25 ($2920) $1750
  • WiseSavings 20 Individual plan / Family plan $2920 map to WiseSavings 20 $3000
  • WiseChoices 20 $1000 map to WiseChoices 20 $0

Rates

We’ve filed for an average 14.4% rate increase for our LifeWise Essential, Cascade, and Cascade Select metallic plans, and a 10.4% increase for our grandfathered plans.

Rates are not final until approved by the OIC in early September.

Network

Cascade Select will continue to use the LifeWise Alpine network with over 55,000 providers, including Kinwell, Providence, Swedish, MultiCare, PeaceHealth, Confluence, and more. This network is larger than any other Cascade Select network in the market.

Your Essential and Cascade plan clients will remain on the same LifeWise Primary network with over 30,000 providers, including Kinwell, Providence, Swedish, PeaceHealth, Confluence, and more.

Grandfathered plans will continue to use the LifeWise Preferred network.
