Help Clients Go Paperless with EOBs
Every time a provider sends a claim to LifeWise Health Plan of Washington, your clients receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). If they’re receiving these as paper statements by mail, LifeWise is reaching out to encourage the switch to paperless.
Why we’re encouraging paperless
By switching to paperless EOBs, your clients will:
- Get important information faster—no waiting for mailed statements.
- Have secure and convenient digital access.
- Receive email notifications when EOBs are available.
- Reduce clutter, shredding, and the environmental impact of paper.
LifeWise outreach
Since June, LifeWise has been reaching out to members encouraging them to opt in to paperless EOBs. They may have been contacted through our personalized and secure text-based messaging system.
LifeWise will continue to communicate about paperless EOBs through text alerts, social media, and lifewise.com.
Opting in to paperless
There are two ways your clients can make the switch to paperless:
- Sign in to their LifeWise account (or create an online account if they haven’t already) and follow the simple steps found on the account page or go to Welcome > Settings > Preferences. Under Preferences, select to have EOBs emailed when ready.
- Call customer service at 800-817-3056 and speak to a LifeWise representative directly about opting in to paperless EOBs. Contact hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST.
