98point6 is transitioning to Transcarent
98point6, a virtual care app, will transition to the Transcarent brand and platform. This change is part of a multi-year integration following Transcarent’s acquisition of 98point6 in 2023.
Why it matters
The transition is designed to give members a simpler, unified virtual care experience while maintaining access to 24/7 on-demand medical support. Members will continue to receive chat-based virtual care, with video available when needed by the clinician.
What’s changing
Members will access virtual care through the Transcarent app and will need to create an account using an email address and password instead of a phone number. Existing clinical history and visit information will transfer to the new platform, helping maintain continuity of care throughout the transition.
The Transcarent app also offers added benefits, including web browser access, enhanced security, and expanded functionality.
